This week, on behalf of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee of WSP, teaching artists returned to campus to bring a celebration of Kwanzaa to our students. Thank you to Anqwenique and Darrell Kinsel, Sister IAsia Thomas, Malcolm 'Brother Min' Thomas, and Miguel Sague III.

Grades 4 and 5 students sing for residents of Pennwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where they also delivered holiday cards. Resident Taye A. Ormsbee (Townley) has been a WSP community member for over 25 years. She helped create the school library and volunteered weekly until the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, she volunteered as a handwork assistant during her years at the school. Former WSP employee Laura Zech was there with Taye.
