Scenes from Campus: February 2022
Our Little Friends spent the month exploring the mud on rainy days, keeping their cubbies neat and tidy, immersed in creative play, and expressing themselves with watercolors.
Inspired by a WECAN 2022 Early Childhood Conference workshop she recently attended, Miss Juli gave children in the Dandelion Kindergarten an opportunity to share some of their own favorite books with the class. In sharing their favorite pictures without words the children feel ownership, connection, and build diversity organically within the class.

February is Black History Month and it marks the beginning of the Year of the Tiger. Fifth Grade painted Tigers in watercolor.
