March 13th Alumni vs WSP Basketball Team Scrimmage

Dear All,

This winter, 6th–8th grade students at WSP have formed a basketball team with the assistance of coaches and WSP parents Quincy Swatson, Paul Rodgers and Todd Tomczyk. The team has enjoyed playing each week at the West Penn Recreation Center in Polish Hill as they practice new skills. The team has recently held two exciting scrimmages with other local schools. 

We would like to extend an invitation to alumni students from the WSP classes of 2022 and 2023 to join us for a fun Alumni vs WSP Basketball team Scrimmage on Wednesday, March 13th from 4:00–5:00 pm at the West Penn Recreation Center. Any student who would like to join the game is welcome to participate regardless if they are on a basketball team currently. This is an opportunity for youth only, not adults. Alumni who do not wish to play are  welcome to attend as spectators. 

Please reply to aillar@waldorfpittsburgh.org to indicate attendance. It helps us to know ahead of time how many students may attend so we can plan.
