Hope Lights the Way Around Us
Letter from Our Head of School
Dear WSP Families,
We look forward to seeing you this evening for our annual Lantern Walk. Please arrive during the assigned times given to each class so that students and families may stay in their pods. For health and safety reasons, we are only able to host our enrolled families in the Lantern Walk this year. As noted in last week’s announcements, this festival of Martinmas celebrates hope and kindness and being called to help others by bringing light in the world.
Our third graders expressed some of their hopes in their drawings this week. Reading them inspires one to rise and shine even when times are hard. Our 'Rise & Shine' Annual Fund helps bridge the financial gap in our budge not covered by tuition. Our school has brought together a very special constellation of people to carry us through this year. We are grateful to each of you.
Thank you to everyone who has already given to the Annual Fund during a year that is not easy for any of us. Your interest and care in the school truly has the ability to change the world.
With hope and gratitude,
Kirsten Christopherson-Clark
Head of School
