Grades Scenes from On-campus and Off-campus Parallel Learning
Since moving from whole school distance learning to in-person and parallel learning on January 21, our teachers, administration, and approximately 80% of our students are getting used to being on campus again!
Sixth graders are allowed a moment of cooperative learning when checking to see if their coastlines meet in their geography lesson! Each student works individually on several sections of a smaller gridded map which they converted to cardstock to make a collective map of South America. They will use plasticine to shape the topography of each section. Parallel learners are working on creating two gridded maps of their own with political and physical geography themes.
