Canceled: Camp Waldorf 2020

After thoughtful consideration, WSP has made the decision to keep all on-campus programming closed for this summer. This includes Summer Camp. We know this is disappointing news to hear and wanted to share this update with you as soon as the decision was made. While we are all eager to be together for summer camp on campus, safety and preparedness are our priorities.  At the time of this writing, our county continues to fall under the stay-at-home orders or red phase of reopening Pennsylvania.

At this time, WSP is planning for a cohesive and proactive approach to reopening our school in September. This includes ongoing guidance from the state/OCDEL(Office of Child Development and Early Learning), CDC, WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and PAIS (Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools). 

In addition, we are thinking of inspiring ways we can remain connected as a community this summer. Our Summer Camp Committee will share more information about this soon.
