Why Waldorf Works

As the holidays approach, some of us may be thinking about gifts for our children. In Sally Jenkinson’s article, Toy Stories, she reminds us about the simplicity that children need for their imaginative, interactive play.  She writes, “The imagination relates to the qualitative rather than quantitative nature of human experience and from it flows empathy, art, including the art of living, and love. Through fantasy, the world can be filled with the child’s irrepressible soul activity, which comes directly from its unfolding being.” To read the entire article, look at this fall’s issue of Lilipoh- copies can be found in our school’s library.
