**Grade 6 reflects the pioneer rate of no increase in tuition from 2010/2011 to 2011/2012.
*A $300.00 materials fee is applied to all 5-day programs. A $200.00
materials fee is applied to all 2 and 3-day programs.

Extended-Care Program
We offer a Waldorf–inspired after school program from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm for nursery students through the grades. This program is also in operation for many of the school holidays; some as all day care. If you are interested,please contact the Enrollment Coordinator for more information and an application.
Service Obligation
Waldorf schools traditionally operate with generous contributions of volunteer hours, talent, and donations from their families. This responsibility not only enhances the running of the school, but adds to the diversity and fabric of our school community. At the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh we ask that grade parents sign a Service Contract agreeing to donate 40 hours of their time per year (20 hours per year for 5-day Kindergarten and Nursery programs and 12 hours per year for 2-and 3-day Nursery). Service hours not completed will be billed at the rate of $20.00 per hour to be paid at the end of the year.
Sibling Discount
We offer a sibling discount: the first child will pay the full amount, the second child will receive a 10% discount, and the third (or more) child will receive a 15% discount. Little Friends, Morning Garden and the Extended Care program participants do not qualify for sibling discounts. Students who qualify for the Scholarship Program are not eligible for the Sibling Discount.
Scholarship Program
The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh is committed to developing a student body that reflects the diversity of our community. Our Scholarship Fund has been established to enable students to attend and is available to students in 5-day Nursery through Grade 5.If you plan to apply for scholarship, please request an application from the Enrollment Office. The due date for application is March 1. Decisions will be made by April 5 to allow parents time to make their application decisions in a timely fashion. Additional Fees
Fee for late payments is $25.00; Returned check fee is $35.00; Contracts returned after the May 1 deadline will be assessed $50.00 late fee.
