The Knighting Ceremony

After a year of community service, secret home improvement projects, the Medieval Games, interviewing and writing about a person worthy of admiration, and being observed by a Secret Sponsor who records knightly deeds, the Squires of Sixth Grade are ready to discover if they will be elevated to the Ranking of Knight.  This project, common in the sixth grade classes of many Waldorf Schools, challenges the students to be their best selves, help others, and find positive ways to contribute to the communities in which they live and learn as they enter into adolescence.  Please join us for this thoughtful rite of passage at 7:00 pm on May 24th in the Chapel.
