Summer Camps and Programs
June 18th – August 17th
Camp Waldorf at the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh provides wholesome, fun filled days for children ages 4 – 12 from 8 am – 12 pm (with options for Extended Day until 4 pm).
Our summer camp provides age appropriate activities, in balance with time for free play, exploration, and nature hikes. During each camp session, campers can experience such activities as: storytelling and puppetry, woodworking, pottery, and even yoga! (Please see our brochure for our full camp schedule)
Early Childhood Camps
Ages 4 – entering grade 1
Our Early Childhood Camps are lead by dedicated and talented Early Childhood teachers. We spend our days playing circle games, singing songs, cooking and baking, and of course, experiencing all those wonderful camp moments that make the summer time fun! Whether it’s listening to and playing musical instruments, or watching a puppet show, we’ll find magic around every corner. Each week, we’ll also take a special field trip together. Early Childhood Camps are offered to children ages 4 through entering grade 1. Children must have completed Nursery (or equivalent) prior to attending.

Grades Camps
Grades 2 – 7
Our camps for grades 2 – 7 offer challenging and exciting opportunities for grade age children. From woodworking to theater, each weekly camp session will focus on a special craft. Every week, our camp counselors will welcome a guest teacher, who is an expert in our weekly craft. We’ll learn new techniques together, and develop our creative natures. Each week we’ll take a field trip together to better explore our crafts. Children must have completed grade 1 to attend Grades Camp. Summer Little Friends Program
18 months- 4-years old
This childcare program is a mixed age program (18 months – up to 4 years) offered to Little Friends, Nursery and Kindergarten families. Two 4-week sessions are offered. Session I is June 20-July 15 and Session II is July 18-August 12. You may sign up for one or both sessions.
