Every year the school must support its mission by asking the community for additional funds to close the gap between operating expenses and tuition income. To accomplish this, former and current community members are asked for additional financial donations during the school’s Annual Fund Drive, which is starting today! A packet is being mailed to each of you, which contains a letter from the President of the Board of Trustees, Alex Gruskos, (http://waldorfpittsburgh.org/annual-fund-drive-2010/) and the school’s Annual Report, both of which detail our accomplishments in 2009-10.
The faculty, board and administrative staff are all committed 100% to contributing to the Annual Fund Drive, and we would like to ask the same of each of you–to give what you can to support our exceptional form of education. Please return your Annual Fund Drive pledge card to the school with a donation of any amount. Donations can also be made on-line at www.waldorfpittsburgh.org/giving. We are grateful for your participation at any level, and if each and every one of us participates, it will be easy to reach our fund raising goals.
