Last week, the third grade traveled to a textile farm in Maryland for two nights. While we were there we fed the many animals and helped with chores around the farm. Shoveling manure was a class favorite. This week and next, the third grade class is working with class parent, Bob Baumbach to build a canopy for the cob oven that will allow all the cooks who use the oven to stay dry and in the shade.
The Open House originally scheduled for Jan. 13 was postponed due to weather. The new date is Jan. 20.
