In the Fourth Grade

On Friday, September 30th, the 4th grade explored parts of Pittsburgh as part of their local geography and history block. They first traveled up the Monongahela Incline where they were able to view our beautiful city and its three rivers from Mount Washington. After riding back down the incline, they ventured onto the Duchess, part of the Gateway Clipper fleet, where they experienced the rivers first hand and were able to see the city from a different perspective. On the whole, the class enjoyed getting to know some of what Pittsburgh has to offer. As the class took in the awesome views, one fourth grader was quoted as saying, “I love where we live!”
