As we move into February, Fourth Grade is reentering our study of Norse Mythology. In the fall we read about the creation of the worlds and the gods, goddesses, giants, dwarfs and other creatures that inhabit them. During this block, we will find out more about the follies and victories of the Gods and see ourselves reflected in some of the choices they make. These stories portray great courage and strength as well as trickery and treachery. For each decision made, there are wonderful rewards or dire consequences. Our study of the Norse Myths and their lessons will provide a stage for learning in language arts and personal and community responsibility.
The Open House originally scheduled for Jan. 13 was postponed due to weather. The new date is Jan. 20.
