In Grade Four

Grade Four is excited to return from spring break and delve into our block on Zoology. One of our areas of exploration will be Pittsburgh’s peregrine falcons.  The nesting season for the peregrines has begun, and we will follow the progress of the laying and incubating of the eggs and the eventual fledging of a new brood of chicks.  We will travel to Oakland to see the nesting pair at the Cathedral of Learning.  The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will visit our classroom with a raptor to teach us about their habits and biology.  The fourth grade will celebrate the return of growth and new life this spring with our learning about the life cycle of these magnificent birds
