Gnome Sighting in Local Neighborhood Park

Several small creatures were sighted in the Friendship Parklet on Tuesday, June 5 at about 11:10 a.m.  A local man said he’s not sure what he really saw but had a strong memory of fast moving red pointed hats around the shrubberies and in branches of the trees.  An older woman who was cleaning up after her dog said she didn’t see anything, but her doggie was “so very pleased and amused.”  Finally, when twelve young students from the Waldorf School approached running toward them, the children became the main focus.  Both the man and woman said they definitely saw the happy and excited children enjoying tiny muffins which were “out of this world!”

The Handwork Teacher, Mrs. Konefal-Shaer, and her helpers could not be located for comment.
