Live Auction Items: Preview

The following items will be auctioned off during live-bidding at the gala.

Taye is a cherished volunteer and member of the WSP school community. Her original silk paintings exquisitely depict the magical aspects of the seasons. Silk paintings originated from India in the 2nd Century A.D. They are created by the application of paints or dyes directly onto silk fabric using an exciting array of water color techniques. The colors are brilliant, vibrant and translucent and merge on the fabric which remains soft to the touch. The intricate details of Taye’s Flowering Pears fully capture the symbolic nature of the pear tree as something to cherish and that which embodies strength, justice, longevity, and fruitfulness.
