Fifth Grade Pentathlon

Last week, the Fifth Grade traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan to attend the Greek Pentathlon at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor.  The students were divided into five ancient Greek city-states, Sparta, Athens, Corinth, Delphi and Mycenae.  They stayed with families from the Steiner School.  There were five events: long run, short run, long jump, wrestling and discus.  Two of our students brought home olive wreaths: Amelia for her grace and beauty in the long jump and Brianna for her improved time in the long run.  We all had a lot of fun at the games!
