Fifth Grade Greek Dinner Theater

A huge thank you goes out to all of the families and friends that joined the Fifth Grade class in their last production of the year. The class raised over $600.00 during their production of Demeter and Persephone which was followed by a delicious, homemade Greek feast.  Part of the money raised is going towards the Pentathlon trip that the class will participate in on Friday, May 21st at the Rudolf Steiner School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The reenactments of these Greek Olympic games are tradition for Fifth graders in Waldorf School across the country.  The students from our school will be placed on ‘city-state’ team with students from four other Waldorf Schools.

The remaining funds of $160.00 raised by the students will be donated to the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh’s annual fund drive.
