Waldorf School of Pittsburgh

The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh is currently seeking an enthusiastic person dedicated to Waldorf Education to join our school and serve as the Full-Day/Extended Care Coordinator. This position holds the responsibilities of these programs at large and works collaboratively with other Full-Day/Extended Care staff as well as the morning Early Childhood teachers.

Overview:

The full-day program is offered to all Nursery and Kindergarten children whose parents wish them to stay from 12-3pm. Essentially it is an extension of the morning program. The Extended care program is offered to all Nursery, Kindergarten, and Grades children whose parents wish them to stay after school from 3-6pm.

Particulars:

Workday is from 11am – 6pm M-F on school days.

Requirements:

(Must have one of the following)

1. B.A. in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.
2. B.A. that includes 30 credit hours in the above fields and 2 years of experience with children.
