Eurythmy Club

The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh Eurythmy Club
Wednesdays 3:00 – 4:30 PM
January 23 – March 6, 2013 (Excluding February 20)
March 13, 2013 – Sharing of Eurythmy movements with parents and friends

(7 sessions) Grades 4 – 7

The club will explore how language moves us and how we can move language. Agility and coordination in our hands, feet, legs and arms will be brought into play with fun and challenging concentration exercises. There may an opportunity in which the children can share their work with the school community. Aiming towards this goal is an extremely valuable aspect of the club work, although this means a sharing rather than a staged performance.

Please bring: EU (eurythmy) slippers if they have them or those slipper socks with tabs so one does not slip. Comfortable clothing for the children, not sports attire, preferably no “hoodies,” but sweat shirts and sweaters are fine.

Instructor: Gail Langstroth (Eurythmist)

Cost: $65 dollars for 7 sessions (free if child is enrolled in Extended Care).
