Children applying to first grade will be invited to spend two days in the kindergarten and must be assessed for developmental readiness. Following the child’s visit and assessment, a parent-teacher interview will be scheduled at the school.

For children in grades 2-6, school transcripts from the child’s previous school are to be sent along with the application. The student is then invited into the class for a three-day visit. A parent/teacher interview follows this visit.

When a child has been accepted into the Waldorf School at any level, families will receive a request for a $400 tuition deposit to hold the child’s space in the class. After-School Program: This program is available for Grades children from 3-6 pm. This time is spent playing outside and joining in on activities, with time for homework for our older students. The After-School Program is part of the Extended Care Program.

Families seriously considering Waldorf for their children are asked to submit completed applications, including the $50 application fee, by February 1 of each year for September enrollment. Applications received later will be considered if spaces are available.
