Puppet shows and props were used to start the year off at the Back to School event on Monday, August 29th. The Early Childhood faculty presented a creative overview of their work using puppets, and the Specialty and Grades teachers made short presentations to the parents attending using items such as pitchforks, wooden dolls and violins. An overview of how school communications occur was presented, and the new parent handbooks were distributed for the year.
If a family was unable to attend this event, arrangements need to be made to pick up the materials that were distributed at Back to School night from the Front Office. All parents are required to have the following materials for the school year:
- Parent Handbooks, updated for the 2011-12 school year
- School Directory for Fall 2011
- Drop-Off instructions and map
