Alumni Parents Gather to Celebrate the School’s Vision

On September 12th, the school hosted an event to thank alumni parent leaders who in 2003 were central to moving the school from Pittsburgh’s South Side to its current location. These individuals also played large roles in shaping the initial vision of expanding our programming through the 8th grade. In addition to sharing great food and memories, guests learned more about the school’s current status and our plans for the near future through short presentations given by Kirsten Christopherson-Clark, Bobbi Konefal-Shaer, Anne Clair Goodman and Julia Sawyer. Touring the new 7th grade classroom enabled these foundation-stone parents to celebrate the fruition of their vision and the committed work they did to carry it forward. We are thankful to them for their foresight and dedication to our mission!

Thank you to all alumni parents, friends, faculty, staff and board members who attended and who helped make this event possible. A special thanks to alumna Mev Howison and her D-Cup Cupcakes for the fabulous desserts!
