After School Activities for Grades Children


The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh’s After – School Program is looking for Parent Volunteers to participate in the first After – School Activities Program for Grades Children (1st – 6th Grade). Parent Volunteers must have their Act 34/Police Background Clearances to participate. Please see below the following opportunities we are hoping to present to our communities children in the afternoons:

 

Bead Work

1 Day a Week; 1 – 2 hours a day starting at 3: 15 PM (Minimum commitment is 1 day a week for 3 consecutive weeks.)

Teach children the art of beading. Bracelets, Necklaces, Rings and Earrings. Do you know how to make clay beads from scratch? Teach children to custom make personalize beads that they may treasure for years to come. Supplies will be provided by the program.

 

Games

1 Day a Week; 1 – 2 hours a day starting at 3:15 (Minimum commitment is negotiable)

Teach children the variety and joy of Games! Board Games, Card Games, Outdoor Games and Indoor Games. Do you have a special game you would enjoy playing with our Graders? Bring it along! Supplies will be provided by the program
